Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas Part One

Lamar Hunt Jr. and Loretto Foundation is a big supporter of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas. Their Three Pillars mission is one the rings true to Lamar. The first pillar is Family Stabilization. Under this mission goal, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas provides emergency assistance to families in need. This may include food, rent assistance, utility assistance and even transitional housing. Counseling can also be provided. The idea is to meet a family’s basic needs as well as the individual’s basic needs. They don’t want anyone going to bed hungry or experiencing the tragedy of being homeless.
