Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas Golf Classic – Part Three

Lamar Hunt Jr. and Loretto Foundation sponsored a hole in support of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas. Their annual golf classic raised over $150,000 for their many programs.  Here are a few. Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas provides emergency assistance to families in need. This may include food, rent assistance, utility assistance and even transitional housing. Counseling can also be provided. The idea is to meet a family’s basic needs as well as the individual’s basic needs. They don’t want anyone going to bed hungry or experiencing the tragedy of being homeless. They have many more programs such as Dads Enrichment Program, Foster Care and Supported Family Living, Friendly Visitors and Mental Health Counseling.
