Bleeding Boy Comforted By Nuns After Gun Shot
Recently, Loretto Foundation, LLC donated money to Little Sisters of the Lamb. For those of you who don’t much about them, they are a group of nuns who do not possess any material things. They live among the people in the neighborhood where they spread the peace and love of Jesus Christ. Their mission is to spread the good news and announce to those who do not know the name of the Lord Jesus and to give those who already know Him the daily food of the Word of God. They beg daily for their food. Upon returning to their monastery (or local house) they pray for everyone they have met. On March 14, 2012 a 15 year-old boy was shot in the back while riding his mini-motorcycle. The nuns quickly came out to the boy’s aid. Apparently, they helped stop the bleeding and comforted him until the ambulance arrived. Founder Lamar Hunt, Jr. had this to say, “God knows where to put the right people at the right time. These nuns are a blessing to that neighborhood.” As we have urged before, consider supporting these Little Sisters of the Lamb and of course, pray for the successful completion of their mission: Prayer, friendship and fellowship. Contact them at Little Sisters of the Lamb, 36 S. Boeke St., Kansas City, KS, 66101. See https://lorettofoundation.com/.com for more information about this fine charity and others we support.
