The Good Samaritan Center – Part Two

Lamar Hunt Jr. and Loretto Foundation support the Good Samaritan Center. Their mission is dedicated to preventing homelessness and hunger by providing basic life needs and access to life skills. Recently the Good Samaritan Center held its annual golf scramble tournament to help raise money for their excellent programs. One of their programs is Senior Services. This program helps senior clients with food, medical help, holds an energy conservation workshop, housing, utility assistance, and filling out legal paperwork. They also have a Senior Advocate who works in rural Clay County to assist seniors in remaining independent.  Recently they held a golf scramble tournament to support their programs and Lamar not only attended but sponsored some holes.
