Loretto Foundation Helps Resurrection Catholic School with Building Improvement Campaign

Resurrection-Catholic-School-300x232The mission of the Resurrection Catholic School, located at 425 N. 15th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, is to provide an environment that is conducive for all students to learn and to promote Christ’s love. The school strives to help its students understand that everyone is a child of God and that they must show responsibility and respect in every area of their lives. The school was in dire need of an upgrade to its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system, so Lamar Hunt Jr. and Loretto Foundation came to the rescue with a major gift to the school’s building improvement campaign. A “big check” was presented to Lynda Higgins of the Resurrection Catholic School at an assembly in May. “This school is doing an important work in our community, and we are proud to be able to help in this way,” said Lamar Hunt Jr., president of Loretto Foundation. The kids and the school administrators were ecstatic that they can now be assured of being cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and took the time to prepare a digital “thank you card” for Loretto Foundation.
